I signed up with CCCS and have been sending money to them and they to a creditor. I received a call from an attys office telling me the account was sold to another agency who inturn gave the atty the order to collect in full. After talking with CCCS, they asked me to find out who the account was sold to and they will direct the moneys to them and not to be discouraged if the atty says they don't work with CCCS. Why would the creditor accept the money if there is no account? The atty is not giving me information about his client so what can I do? Do I call the original people and ask them?
