I received a "settlement letter" from NCO for a bill from CreditTrust. CreditTrust sought and obtained a judgment from me and it has been satisfied. NCO states that the original creditor is CreditTrust and total due is $691. If CreditTrust was limited to a certain amount in small claims court, can they sell the difference AND tack on interest?
