Hello,

I am being sued for the credit card debt on account for which I made the last payment on 11/11/1997. I live in Connecticut and since date of lawsuit is 9/23/2003, it is under 6 years which is a time table for state of Connecticut.

However, my credit card agreement has the following paragraph, word for word:

19. Law That Applies -- This Agreement will be governed by federal law and the law of Delaware. If any part of the agreement is unenforceable this will not make any other part unenforceable.

Now since the SOL in state of Delaware kicks in after 3 years, which are well past, am I free and clear?

Thanks much in advance for any responses!
