I live in Arkansas. Something different has happened as of today. I got a call from another agency concerning the same SOL debt whitewing had. It appears the debt has been sold due to inability to collect. This man says he is from another agency called arrow financial. I have heard of them but do not know if they are affiliated with whitewing.I have caller id,but no number came up. This guy was not pretending to be my friend or threatening anything. He did not read my credit file to me as whitewing did. He also was not worried about the SOL status of this debt. The SOL in AR.for credit card debt is 3 years.Right now,we are also twice the CRA reporting and sueing SOL.I checked with trans goonioun and even if the debt is in SOL status,it is considered "permissable purpose" to put a inquiry on your credit history to see if you are worth harassing. I'm sure another inquiry will appear from these people.Many say that this is not permissable purpose,but they are allowing it.
I can send a SOL and cease-comm his way.Anything else I can do to ruin his day as he is slowly but suirely bumping down my credit score.
