It's been 16 years since I made a payment.This debt was charged -off and was completely gone until Capitol Aqusitions bought it.They gave up when I refused to pay based on the SOL status of this debt.It was then sold to Blightwing.They have been on my back for a few months now.I got tired of being harassed by them,so I sent the Cease-comm letter informing them of the SOL status of this debt.They never aknowledged getting it.Another collector (same office) was assigned to attempt collection.It has been my understanding that inquiries cannot be placed on your credit record based on out of date or time -barred accounts.trans-goonioun,however, says it can be done.This is how the whole thing started.When bilghtwing bought the debt,they placed an inquiry to see if I was worth harassing and I was.They have now sold the debt to arrow financial,so I suppose another inquiry will show up.Got a SOL and cease-com off today to them.Certified and return reciept attached.Will see what happens.
