Be sure to file a "notice of appearance" and "general denial" answer or they will get a default judgment. See court clerk for papers. When did you first become delinquent with the OC "not" when you last paid CA? The SOL is (3)years in NC and if expired--it is an affirmative defense in your answer. See Why Chats letter link below:
