Hi again. I just got a consumer attorney to handle summons/complaint from CC mess. Because of ongoing and past 3 1/2 yrs of divorce nightmare he said BK would actually make the situation worse (as far as domestic) :( He is going to send settlement offer to CC attorney.

As far as the medical bills go, I'm still trudging along with court system and divorce attorney in wonderfull WV. Currently the Judge has ordered itemized bills on each of the kids, plus copies of all of my payments on them, balances owed, and overpayment amounts due to me from ex. I'm not going to hold my breath that once he receives all of this that he will enforce it, but Child Support Enforcement said that IF we can get the Judge to order withholding for medical bills they WILL enforce it.

My 17 yr old broke his foot in Nov, ortho clinic refused to even schedule an appt until past due bill was paid in full...(genetic condition, so breaks are pretty frequent for them) Ex finally came through with the money when I told him I would get an exparte hearing and show the judge just what a piece of pond scum he is by letting his son suffer because he doesn't pay his share of the bills! (son's surgery was Friday...everything went good!!!)

This is why it is soooo important for me to be able to show the kids bills separate from mine. I explained all of this to the first CA this particular bill was with, but they still didn't separate it.

I have typed out a combination cease & desist and dispute/validation letter that I'm going to send to the CA attorney tomorrow (weather cooperating) Hopefully, it will go back to the clinic and somebody there will actually work with me to get this straightened out.
