Hi, I would definitely check into bankrupcy with an attorney. If there is a law suit, the bankrupcy will stop it immediately. I was served on a Friday late afernoon, my attorney called their attorney Monday after. If they get a judgement, it will cost an extra fee to the attorney to have it vacated, although it can be done. An ounce of prevention. Bankrupcy will give her a fresh start.
