its who our house is financed thru now. the only prob i see is whatever is showing as past due on ur credit report will be paid out of ur cash u r due back. i just did this 5 months ago. luckily they got about 500$ which was wasted but no way could i keep it frm it. centex will use ur local abstract company for the signing and fax the papers needed. they were timely..the guy we used was really nice and prompt..shrug* they used a current redit report..but im not sure there..a title search,. our bad credit didnt phase centex ..we have like a 9% interest rate. in texas they can loan 80% of ur appraisal ..which thats the only snag we had was the appraisal guy was retired and did this on the side and wasnt in any hurry. i had to jack him up a few times lol. in a nice way! he holds ur money in his hand so to speak! good luck!
