My understand is that paying the debts at this point in time is not going to help your credit score. If you are stressing out about it, I think the bankrupcy is a good idea. Trying to deal with CAs is extremely stressful, and DON'T tell them you are going to be buying a new house. Most people around here consider CAs to be trolls not to be trusted or believed.
