I feel absolutely no stigma at all from having filed bk. For me, it was the end of a very stressful time. I think the psychology is that when you file bk, you prove to the court that you cannt pay the debts, if your credit report shows a lot of charge offs, it shows that you just did not pay your debts. I think the former is more favorable.
