Okay, I have gone to the website, and need a little more help. I spoke to the clerk of the court, and I am going to file an answer of no knowledge of the acct. I honestly cannot match up this information they are giving me, with anything I can find on any credit report or letter from the CA. Is there a sample letter anywhere for answering a suit for no knowledge? Also, the clerk said to state in the letter that I would like them to provide some actual documentation of the debt, and that after I file the answer to the court and plaintiff, they will either respond to strike the answer and/or a hearing date will be given to all. This is Asset Acc, if they are unable to provide this information, what are the chances that they will even seek to strike my answer and proceed? Could it possibly be "dead in the water" at that point, and dropped? What should my letter state other than I am unaware of the acct, and request that they provide the information to back up their claim?
