I have late payments on a car loan from about 6 months ago. I still have 2 years before I will finish the regularly scheduled payments, but I have enough cash to pay the loan off early. Would my credit be better off if I make 2 years of on time payments, so that the late payment may get dropped or should I pay off the loan in its entirty?
