I live in Washington state and this is where there is controversy on this board. If your credit cards in (1999) were "signed application agreements"--they have a SOL of (6) years.

When was the date of last payment? If you made an "unconditional and voluntary payment" (sent a voluntary partial payment check or money-order) the SOL regarding lawsuits starts all over again in Washington state.

This has "nothing to do with FCRA reporting" to the CB--The SOL for reporting begins with the first MISSED payment that led to the delinquency being reported. This date is a date-certain and does not change,. The SOL per FCRA is 7 years.
