I was just told by a new york lawyer the if i did not resolve a $10000.00 citibank judgement from march 2001 he was going garnish my wages. the judgment was filed in new jersey. i now live in nevada. can it be done and what is the legal process? should i get a lawyer? there has been no letters or verbal communication until now from march 2001. also, it is not the original lawyers that filed the judgment. please advise thanks, J.P.
