Take your attorneys advice and ignore it. If they contact your sister again--they are violating the FDCPA. They are only allowed to contact a 3rd party "one time only" to request location information on your niece (address, phone, place of employment). Tell them she does not live there and nothing else and to stop calling or you will contact the police.
