You did the right thing.

The judgment will be on your credit reports for 7 years from the filing date.

IF you go back to work,and IF you are in a State which allows wage garnishment, you would still be entitled to an exemption of 75% of your net take home pay, or about $280. per week, whichever is more.

I don't think you have to worry about it, in fact, if you have other debts that you can't pay, it may be a blessing in disguise,as no one else will be dumb enough to fie suit.
