I was just contacted by Camco trying to collect a debt for Citibank in 1987. I honestly can't even say that I had an account with them then. I do know that I was having some credit issues then. But I have no records. Nor have I been contacted since then regarding this debt.
I realize the TX SOL is expired (4 yrs). My question is... Should I ask Camco to validate and wait for that response before I tell them about the SOL (basically because I don't have any records)? Please help. And Thank you!
