no. that is only if you get a new credit account (individual or joint) after you get married, and if you live in a community property state.

all old accounts on your report have nothing to do with your spouse. credit bureaus are required by federal law to keep credit files separate. until you get your credit cleaned up, just do not apply for any credit after you get married.
