The dates of "activity" on your credit reports are NOT "re-aging", unless the CA is illegally not showing the default date with the OC.

If that is the case, dispute the account as follows, "I have no such account for these dates with this creditor".

If you have BOTH the CA and the OC reporting on your reports, and the account #'s are the same,and you can not get the CA account deleted with the above dispute, THEN you redispute and refer to the OC entry, (which should be showing the correct default dates)

Once you pay a CA, you are cementing the entry to your report and are risking ILLEGAL re-aging.
Also, if you pay the CA, it makes it MUCH more difficult to delete the OC account.

Make sure you opt out before starting any credit repair.
