It depends,

If you were paying "Ameriscam" on one or more delinquent accounts, and DID NOT sign a NEW consolidation loan contract, then the original SOL starting date on each of the accounts does not change for either reporting or filing a lawsuit.

If, however, you signed a NEW loan agreement that "paid off" the old loans, and then defaulted on the new loan, then, yes, your SOL started over.
