well...I took Parry's advice from "what is a mandate" and called the 800# left by "CitiBank Investigations" (message on my answer machine) from a pay phone and it was from the current CA
with a different 800#.
Is that misrepresentaion/violation of FDCPA by CA if the message was left on the answer machine?
one Interesting thing is that I felt stupid for posting the original question before knew all the facts.
