Whychat-check/sav account at bank with 8 year old charge

off-- Regional bank in new England- i have had savings-checking account with since i was 18- 11 years ago. In 1996 , a credit card i had with them was charged off- for about 3000-this is not even on my credit reports anymore! Will they really raid my two accounts? SHould i change banks after all these years? Thanks as always!
