IF they sue and get a judgement they can seize bank accounts. I will relate my experience. I have approximaely 10 credit cards. My strategy was to totally ignore CAs. I put my phone on fax during the worst of it. Out of 10 cards, only one did actually sue, and that was very close to the SOL. (4 years). I filed bk immediately. There is a lot of psychology in debt collection. CAs lie and threaten. They are trained to work on your emotions. The phone is their tool, take it away from them. Read here and arm yourself.
