Is there a sample letter someplace to write to an attorney who is going to sue where you make an offer to settle before going to court? I've looked and have found nothing. I would want it to say that I am offering xxx dollars, and would pay within 48 hours of getting written confirmation from them that the debt would be settled with no judgement on my record. I basically would offer what I can borrow from relatives.
