I have just been sued for an MBNA debt by Upton Cohen & Slamowitz. I am in NY. I have sent the summons to an attorney, I hope to be able to file bk. But it will be a 13 due to the fact that I have equity in my home above the exemptions. My mortgage is not and never has been late. NY is a tenants by entirety state, I believe. However my salary can be garnished. Their goon has been following me since after the holidays. I just figured that out because neighbors had seen his car parked between 6:30-7:00 am every day for 2 weeks. It's too bad they didn't get the plate number and called the cops. I had been laid off for a year and just went back to work a few months ago. Nobody ever called me until today. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how they got the work number. Also this bozo saw the school bus stop for my kids between 7:00-7:10am, so I guess he waited to see who would come out of the house around that time and followed me. I wonder if they follow murderers and drug dealers so closely. Obviously not as they are still walking the streets. Oh by the way Wolpoff & Abramson won an arb award against me, and then turned it over to these clowns.
