Thanks for your reply.

I filed Chapter 13. I was advised against Chapter 7 because I own a business and a home under Chapter 7 my business could possibly be taken from me.

As far as the info on business...I think I found the literature somewhere on the web. Also as a self employed person things are a little different. I had to submit profit and loss statements, tax forms for 2 years, sales tax forms, etc. Of course I never did this because i decided to dismiss the case. But all of this would have been required "BEFORE" my Meeting of Creditors. Actually it was kind of odd getting the letter in the mail from the trustee stating that they needed all of these papers. My attorney's office did not even know of this "Date" (january 7) that I had to have these papers in. Maybe it was justs a "come in and drop-off" kind of thing and not an actual meeting.

My meeting of creditors was scheduled for January 16. I did not show for this because my attorney said to dismiss the case just do not show up. It was by default rescheduled to January 29 (today). But I did not show. So apparently within the next 7 to 10 days my creditors will be notified of the dismissal and everything could start up again.
(Sorry for the long posts, but I have so much to say.)
