I have to just speak my feelings on this, so please dont be offended. You didnt file Chapter 7 because you were afraid of losing your house and business, but your attorney would be able to determine that prior to your suit or actual filing by calculating your exemptions and so on. I dont know if they would "sell" your business as it is your only source of income and I think in most states you are protected with "tools of the trade" exemptions.

So you went to chapter 13 which is alot harder and you didnt want to go through all the hassles so you failed to show on the creditor hearings, do you know if your bankruptcy was cancelled or they are assuming you are not showing and therefore will judge for the creditors?.

If you are now going to go with one of these credit counselors you are not protected at all and one slip and you are right back in the sh-t again.

Dont you stand to lose everything anyway in a judgement as it seems like you cant come up with the money they want right now ?.

What did you attorney say about cancelling the BK, did he tell you what would happen. Did you ask him to run through scenarios for each of the options. It just seems like you are no better off now that you were before filing for the BK.
