I never had credit before age 35. Started a business and credit card companies were falling over themselves to give me pre-approved cards. Went from $0 to $25,000 credit line on several cards almost overnight. Business went bad and started living off cards. Couldnt pay back cards so they went overlimit from pastdue and fees now they are all charged off and in collections.

All this in 6 years.

Havent used a CC in 3 years but they haunt me every day with calls, letters and threats. Not one wants to negotiate a installment plan, all want ALL the money up front TODAY.

What a bizarre world these credit card companies live in.
