When the judgement is renewed, it will go back on your CR. There is some small hope that it may slip through the cracks and not get renewed.

You didn't state what the judgement is for, but if it involves an equity loan, or money used to improve the property, a lien may be placed against the property.

If it's a credit card debt you're in the clear, homesteadwise.

The problem may arise not when you sell your home, but rather, when you try to purchase another. I don't know of any lender that will approve a mortgage for someone with an unsettled judgement.
