Chapter XIII puts a restraining order on all creditors. They may not call you, send any kind of letters and prevents any kind of legal action. The Bankruptcy Court appoints a Trustee to administer your repayment schedule and you actually pay the court and they will disburse the payments to your creditors based upon your income and the total debt that you owe. They will not contact your employer to disclose your Wage Earner Plan.

The only other alternative would be to pay the agency forever and pay their exorbitant interest on a 19K balance. You can't trust them. They still may sue anyway.
