Advice around here is generally to IGNORE CAs. If they can't threaten or intimidate you, they will likely move onto easier prey. KEEP the mail from them. Your chances of not getting sued are very good. If you do get sued, show up and ask for validation. NEVER IGNORE A SUMMONS TO APPEAR IN COURT. If you do not show up/or answer/ they will get a judgement by default, and that is what they are counting on. If you are sued, and you show up and ask for validation, the creditor will most like not be prepared.
