Get all 3 reports. Look for any info on there that is your mother's (or anyone else's) - like SSN, DOB, AKA's, addresses, and dispute them with the credit bureaus. Write anice letter in your own words, and don't add a lot of other information. Just say "this is not my information, you have me confused with comeone else."

They will want proof of your ID, most likely, so when you send your dispute, also send a copy of your driver's license and a bill to you at your current address. That should speed things up. Send your letter via USPS certified amil, get a reutrn receipt. Keep everything.

Once you get the green card (return receipt) back, send a letter to each of the credit card companies that are reporting you as AU. Tell them to please get this off your reports, you were a minor at the time, you are not responsible for any of these debts.

There have been several court rulings about reporting derogatory information re AU's, and they cannot continue to damage your credit this way if you will go to the trouble of making them stop. If you just wait, they will continue to do this to you and others.

It's work, it's inconvenient, but it has to be done if you want a decent start in life.
