You are doing well. Paying most important bills first, such as mortgage and car notes, is what a financial adviser would, well, advise. If your mortgage is current, your home cannot be taken by some two-bit cheap little gass-off creditor collection scam artiste, not in Florida.
You are paying debts, not likely they'll sue. Capitol One are certified cold-hearted lice who would sue their infant children if they could make a penny. But they'd likely look at your credit report, see you are paying down, thus not worth suing. Hopefully.
If these putrid klepto-kapitalistas sue, you have many a friend on this board who will aver that when sued, best to answer the suit vigorously. Let the bugs know you're not to be trifled with. Many times they drop the action in search of easier marks. After all, they are criminals.

Vigorously,

Keyser Soze

PS - Most Important. Your wife is disabled. Against FTC rules for her health to be reduced by stress resulting from larcenous actions of some drip-nose shiny-suit collection-lawyah wannabe scumbag the ilk of the Parasite of Palm Beach or Mr. Bloaty himself, AssXXXX Acceptic Crap-o-ration. The disabled have special protections, not nice to upset them. Report stress arising to your physician. Medical evidence trumps the word of some sleazebag credit-huckster, even if he does get to phone in his cases in the manner of the inadequate, at least it spares the court-room assembled multitudes the agony of his tuna-breath.
