You did file a response to the summons did you? You need to then check with the courthouse and see if the case is still pending. They are supposed to provide validation before continuing any collection activities, that includes filing suit. If they don't and they press forward with this suit, I would file counterclaims for FDCPA violations and abuse of process and ask for dismissal of the case based on lack of validation.

THey may be waiting on the documentation but if you still have the green certification cards, you have grounds to sue them for FDCPA violations. Check the courthouse and find out the status of the case. Never assume anything.
