I tried to post this message last night as follow up to my original post. I messed it up somehow. So if you find what reads like a repeat it may be my other message.

First, thank you to everyone who offered advice and caring for our situation. I have one question for today. More than one person suggested BR for us. After the ilnesses this note is going to start making our life sound like a melodrama.

My wife went through a difficult and unfair divorce. She was left with only BR as a solution. Her case was discharged in May 1998, Chapter 11, if that is the one that eliminates all debts. We have not pursued BR because our understanding has been that she must wait either seven or ten years to file again.

While reading responses to someone else's question I read one that said you must wait six years to file again. Is that true?
