You really need to get your credit reports and see what is going on.

In any case, you need to file an answer, and notice of appearance. You probably need to get a different lawyer, one who does more than tell you not to show up.

It is possible that one or the other or both of these claims are not even yours.

And, what State were you living in 4 years ago?
