If attorney for cc company files suit in city where work is located instead of home of record, could I request at trial dismissal for lack of jurisdiction? And if I can, could the judge compel me to answer where my actual residence is located. Have mail sent to my office address, instead of home, (bad idea)but creditor never changed address. They have my old address, and have work address from credit report. Credit report even says address is commercial address. I live in Virginia, and I think they have filed in the wrong court. Any help would be appreciated. Also, could you please tell me how to answer. In VA you are just served a warrant in debt and do not get to answer until you show up in court. Thanks
