My wife and I recently applied for a mortgage to try to buy our first house. We were aware of a few ticks on our credit reports (mostly school loans) and have been really working on our credit for the last year. When the mortgage bank ran our credit and mysterious $1300 appeared under my wife's name. The account was a UNVL/Citi account that, after some research, we found had been sold to OSI Portfolios.

My wife called OSI with little to no success. It seems they have sold the account as well. (OSI to Prof. Recovery to Shriver)

We have no idea what this could be and OSI is being less then helpful. What do we do now?

Thanks,
TP
