Not sure about privacy policies, but the yahoo groups are open message boards similar to this one, and the creator of the group would have the option of making messages available to anyone or only members. Also, members can choose not to show their email address or IP numbers which makes it more private than this board. Each time you post a message here your ip addy shows. I'd say the yahoo groups offer more privacy. Depending on whether a person has a static ip address or not that may be a concern. But it's a just a thought, I'd thought I'd offer it as a suggestion since I saw a few complaints on the board. :)
