I would not know where you would get a copy of the original contract? Did you have a contract with another company first? It was about two years ago that MBNA bought my account from US Bank and MBNA did not notify me at all until after I had activated and used their card and then they sent me the privacy and the new contract terms. By that time, I had activated the card.

MBNA sucks.

I do believe that binding arbitration clauses are somewhat unconscionable in that they don't give consumers an option for appeal. They may even be illegal. I never signed a contract at all with MBNA and they don't have my signature on an application with them.
