I made the mistake of joining one of those companies. I'm sorry to say that I really did not investigate till it was too late. They DO NOT represent you in court if you are sued. My feeling is that the creditors ignored them. They settled 1 debt for me but it cost me plenty, and I really had to push for them to settle something.I was taken to arbitration by Wolpoff & Abramson(they won), and this company did nothing at all for me in that regard. I quit them shortly thereafter. I'm better off without them than with them. Oh, and they tell you that the likelihood of you getting sued is not that great. Yeah right!
