Raven is 100% correct, stay away from Debt settlement Company's.. They will just take your hard earned money and let it collect interest , waiting until they have enough to try to settle with your Credit Card Companies.. While this is happening , there are not any payments being made on your accounts.. MBNA, and other Credit Card Companys will send your account to their Legal Department if you are using a Debt Settlement Company.. Your account does not have to be 180 days past due to do this..
