You bring up a good point in that it is actually the B-17, also know as nitriloside, laetrile, and amygdalin that cures cancer, not the apricot seed itself. Also, you would have to ingest the "raw" seeds and they are hard to obtain. What you find in a lot of health food stores is overpriced, sundried seeds in which many of the enzymes have been destroyed.

Without getting too involved, as the B-17 moves through your system, it reacts with cancer cells and releases chemicals on contact which kill the cancer cells one-by-one. Since a cancer growth is made up of thousands, or millions of cells, and the B-17 you ingest is spread throughout your body, it may take long and intensive treatment to have an effect on the cancer. Interestingly, quite a few cancer specialists now believe that cancer itself might be a chronic metabolic disease that arises from a specific vitamin deficiency - -Possibly a deficiency of vitamin B-17?

I only know a couple of people "cured" by taking massive, and expensive amounts of fresh apricot seeds. And it could just be their imaginations. Alternatively, I know of no one who has ever been "cured" by Chemotherapy. Unless dead is considered cured. Then I know quite a few.

B-17 can be found in apple seeds, bitter almonds, and lots of other fruits also.

Medical procedures are kinda like laws. Some work. Some don't. Some are posted everywhere and people still ignore them. Some are hard to find when you need them. Most all are unnecessary and created more to put money in someones pocket than to help the masses.
