I went to court this week for Credigy account. Attorney said I have three options 1) Consent Judgement 2) Trial 3)Continuance. He offered no settlement offers. He said I would have to contact Credigy. I chose trial. Earlier someone suggested I use the SOL defense however the credit report says the account was closed back in 2/2002. However i closed the account in 6/98 and was working with a cccs. Does that affect the SOL. Should I contact Credigy or send them a letter. Help, I said I wanted a trial, but I am apprhensive about situations. If they get judgement, can I file bankruptcy? THANKS
