Some many questions computerguy..... Is there money just sitting in an account somewhere for you to use? Yes when you use a check or an atm to withdrawl money from your credit card and either have it in hand or put it into your checking account that is now your borrowed money. Did we tell you it would take 10 years to pay off a bal maybe maybe not. Is it our fault your an idiot...lets see i have $8,000 account and my monthy payment is $180 and if im lucky i have a 9% apr. hmmm its called a minimum monthy payment for a reason. If you had the money to pay for things you wouldn;t need a credit card. But you don;t so you ask a bank to pay for it and you get the stuff. If you paid your $180 and had no intrest you would have 44 months to pay of that loan. Thats like you lend your buddy $50 and then say why don;t you pay me back over the next 3 and a half years at about $1.15 a month...yeah thats smart business.. Did you sign the contract? So you cry I never signed anything. Did you use the card? If you don;t like it then don;t use credit cards. You claim ignorance so why not sell the stuff you bought to pay the money back? Did you live within your means? If you make $30,000 a year do you have 15k in credit card debt. If you do that is too much. I think there should be more education about how credit works. But to claim you didn;t know what you were getting into is an excuse. You could always do what a few people do and hmmmm spend the money you have. I understand that someday I might run into bad luck or a unfortunate situation but i have planed for that. I do have savings and I don;t have credit card debt. I pay for things with money I have. I just think at some point you have to accept responsibility for your decisions in life. and live up to the consequenses.
