Many of these credit card companies are outsourcing their billings and there credit reporting offices to overseas workers. Also customer service. They are doing it because it is cheaper. Well cheaper is not necessarily better or more efficient. You get exactly what you pay for. If you are going to pay a penny per page for billing, your billing is only going to be worth a penny for page. And you can't fix billing problems if your billing people can't speak English or know American laws.

I think many of these finance companies who are so excited about their outsourcing are going to find out what a nightmare it is.
