Caught your post on the archives. Sorry you're in CA and I'm in NC. Your experience is on the high end of the scale, but not surprising for JBC. Yes they do have real lawyers, but you'll never get to talk to them. Unless YOU get your own real lawyer and sue the crap out of them, which I strongly urge you to do as of yesterday. If they ever collected a real check within the statute of limitations, I never heard of it.
