I just want to say that the FDCPA is much more like what is described in your comments than Mr Hibbs could ever come close to in his many slanderous notices. HE HELPS NO ONE !!! Please dont spend money on an attorney yet. I dont know all the answers, like Bud claims. I am a collector myself. I also believe in helping others. Debts can be taken care of, but not with a cease and desist letter as Mr Hibbs claims. I am sure many agencies and individual collectors use questionable and even illegal tactics.
