Jeff, there's an old saying "If money can solve your problems, then you have no REAL problems". It's when we have money problems, sickness and other problems all at one time that really gets us to our lowest point. We had a very good lifestyle and had it all taken away in the blink of an eye! After two years of trying to deal with everything, I was so tired and saw no end to it all. This forum helped me realize the old saying is true. I now let the CA's get a busy signal all day and just glance at their letters and smile. If they sue, so be it. I'll just fight them one at a time. We have very little income from social security so I just take care of the bare necessities. The rest, I just don't let myself worry about it. The other problems were family related, so I decided I had only one decision to make - They can solve their own problems and I will solve mine one at a time. Now I spend my hours caring for the love of my life (now an invalid, due to brain hemorrage}. Since I quit worrying about the senseless things, I can see that the time and love we devote to each other is our treasure and I will not let anyone take it from us! To take one's own life would be the cruelest thing you can do to those you leave behind. The worst of the money problems will simply go away in time, life will be much better and the joy will return. I promise!
